Police officers with the Superior Police Department reported that an accident that occurred on Oct. 19 sent seven people to the hospital with injuries. According to authorities, the accident happened on the Webber Blacktop road on the south side of Superior around 12:30 p.m.

An August 14 accident near Valparaiso involving a school bus left one person dead and two other people with critical injuries. According to the Saunders County Sheriff's Office, the crash took place at the intersection of two county roads at approximately 7:30 a.m.

Horse-drawn buggy accident kills 1 in southeast Nebraska

A Nebraska woman pleaded guilty to charges of misdemeanor vehicular homicide and misdemeanor misuse of a learner's permit in Pawnee County District Court on July 7. The woman hit a horse-drawn buggy in July 2013 and will face sentencing in the future.
